JustHost has just put up their $3.45/month special again. This is an amazing deal for some great hosting. With this deal they have the cheapest plan among the reputable shared hosts out there. This price along with their reliability is really something you can't go past.
JustHost Uptime Report - 19 January 2010
Happy New Year! I've been thinking of how to make this JustHost review more useful for my readers. I've decided to start monitoring the uptime of this website to really get an exact uptime %. JustHost Comparisons - 22 September 2009
In my mission to create the most comprehensive JustHost review possible, I have added a whole heap of comparisons. These are head to head comparisons between JustHost and other leading hosting companies. In general, JustHost does very well. By the nature of the shared web hosting industry, most leading companies offer just about the same thing. However, JustHost offers quite a few extras and beats most other hosting companies on price. Along with the Anytime money back guarantee which I talked about in my last post, JustHost is certainly a leader in the field.
JustHost Anytime Money Back Guarantee - 3 September 2009
I was just going through my review of JustHost and what I noticed was that I haven't really said much about JustHost's "Anytime Money Back Guarantee", when I was looking for a host, this was one of the main aspects that attracted me to JustHost. This is truly a first in the industry and from what I've heard from fellow webmasters, they honour that policy completely. Basically it means that you can ask JustHost for a refund of the remaning period of your hosting at AnyTime. Most host's have a 30 or 60 day money back guarantee, but JustHost's is effectively forever. This basically makes signing up for an account with JustHost risk free. All you could lose is the domain registration fee (but you get to keep your domain and you can transfer the registration elsewhere).
Just Host Update - 5 August 2009
Sorry about the delay in updating this JustHost review. I just got busy with a few things and was unable to update this review. The good news is that my hosting with JustHost has been chugging on in the background without me having to do anything. In my view, that's exactly how a host should be. If your host is good, you should never even have to think about the hosting. It should just be something that you take for granted. I can tell you, that this is not always the case for all hosts, I have experienced otherwise.
I was just reading through the JustHost blog and saw that they are growing very very rapidly. According to their blog posts they will be reaching 100,000 customers very soon. As the word about JustHost is spreading, their growth seems to be increasing too. The good thing is that it seems they are beefing up their support team to handle the extra customers and their response times are actually decreasing.
I will try my best to keep this review of JustHost updated and provide you with useful information to guide your decision in hosting with JustHost. So far my recommendation is certainly a "Go For It!".
Just Host Review Signup & Beginning - 5th May 2009
Well, here we are. I just signed up for my account with JustHost and put up this site. The aim of this site is to create an ongoing review of JustHost and their services. I will keep posting updates about my experiences with Just Host. Well I just signed up and thought I'd write a bit of a JustHost signup guide to get things started.
If you are ready to sign up with Just Host you will find that this is one of the easiest sign up sites there are. Below you will find a step by step process to the Just Host sign up.
They couldn’t have made it easier; you will see a tab at the top that states “sign up”. You will click on that tab and you will be placed to the next page, step 1 of 2. After seeing a short message congratulating you for making a smart decision you will need to choose a domain dame that you want to host with Just Host. You will also see a reminder that a domain name is free if you select a just Host yearly plan. If you already have a domain name that you want to transfer to Just Host you will have the choice to click on this options as well. You can transfer the domain to Just Host or you can choose a Just Host name server at no additional cost. You can choose .com, .org, .net, .ca, .info, and more. If you have a coupon you can place your coupon code in the space provided before clicking next.
The second and final step in registering with Just Host includes contact information. This information includes your full name and address, phone number, mobile phone number, your company name and address, and your email.
You will need to enter your payment information next. Just Host accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Amex credit cards or PayPal as means of a payment. Include your card information such as the name on the card, credit card number, expiration date and CW2 code.
Next you will be asked to confirm that you have read the terms and conditions and you agree to it. The terms and conditions include an outline of the services Just Host provides, permission to host your content, when will your services be available, about your personal information, their money back guarantee, automatic renewal, backup information, what is considered acceptable or unacceptable use that includes illegal activity, content, some examples of material that is unacceptable on shared servers and dedicated servers, CPU usage policy, and Just Host spam policy.
Other information you will find on this page is resource usage, INODES, the fact that the terms can change, DMCA copyright infringement information, Indemnification, and disclaimer of warranties. You will also find a limitation of liability, terms for affiliates, Just Host affiliate network, how it works section, commissions, base commissions, 2nd Tier programs, affiliate support services, term of agreement, and the governing law and choice of form.
While most terms and conditions can be read by an attorney, Just Host words their terms and conditions so that anyone can read it. In fact they give you that bit of information at the top of the page before you read it all.
Finally at the bottom of step 2 you will see your order summary. First you will choose your monthly hosting package by using a drop down menu. Just Host will display your total savings, and show you where they waive your instant account activation fee, account set up fee, domain registration fee, and give you a money back guarantee anytime. You will also receive $250 marketing credits included for free.
Once you have read over and made your decision you can hit a big red tab that reads “Complete”. That is all there is in a 2 step process to sign up at Just Host.
Well I've got my account, let's see how my experience with JustHost goes.
